Saepinum - Samnite Ruins These well-preserved ruins sit idly day by day, its lack of visitors the reason for their impressive state today. Originally a Samnite town, it was occupied by the Romans in 293 BC. There remains most of an ancient theatre, temples to Jupiter and Apollo and a gate leading to another Samnite town, now known as Boiano. Address: Saepinum Campobasso CB Italy
